Laptop, Yes/No?

http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/dell ... sku-90771/

Ohai, looking for a laptop I can go halves with parents for christmas.

Basically I want it to be able to browse the internet, run Minecraft with good FPS, and be able to download videos fast.

Budget is around 1k, I can go higher/lower, nothing crazy though.

It also has to be something in-store, so I can just go in and pick it up.

Thanks, if you know anything better please leave it here. :3

no you still payed for it, it was included in the price, but saying it is free makes it sound better

No, he added it in for free...

Was originally 4 gigs, he upgraded it to 8 for free. He also gave me Internet security, not included in it. For free.

Re: Laptop, Yes/No?

dark they do that to 95% of people who purchase a laptop
cause if you think your getting free stuff then you are more likely to recommend it to people, its how it works, also part would of been because your a student and students get free stuff

1 year ago my sister bought a laptop and got 4gb ram upgraded to 8 + 3 years of Norton antivirus for "free"

the antivirus was the student item and the ram was the hidden extra

Okay, even if it wasn't 'For Free'

It was still a great deal. :3

With my opinion of Dell being best defined as "They are a piece of $h1T," I believe you did pretty good. =)
